-Read at least two different books
-Try to read books with more meaning and deeper thoughts by the author
-Try to read genres other then chic lit
-Read at least 15 minutes every night
Notice that the second and third goals are not specific enough yet to serve as tangible goals--there is no way to measure "deeper" or "other genres." Try revising them so that they can be measured.
Instead of "deeper books," for example, it could say "read at least one literary fiction novel," or "one book considered a classic." For "other genres, try to name a few you can choose from. Good start.
Also, I want to mention that a couple of other things: (a)unless you are reading Frankenstein on your own and not for another class, it does not count for this class, and (b) please don't copy your reading logs from sparknotes. It really isn't that much more difficult to respond in your own voice--I'm not looking for plot summary here, but authentic, personal response.
Good looking list, Grabriella.
